Salcomp manufactures chargers for mobile phone and other hand-held electronic devices, such as cordless fixed-line phones, Bluetooth headsets, media players, modems and routers, as well as point-of-sales devices and netbooks.
Salcomp specializes in switch-mode chargers that are technically advanced, energy-efficient, fast and small. Salcomp's current switch mode product range comprises six different product platforms: Stratos, Nova, Multiplug, Eagle, Mini, Cosmo and Matrix.
Product Groups
Salcomp’s products can be divided into three groups:
-OEM products – i.e. tailored power supply concepts determined by customers
-ODM products – i.e. power supply concepts based on Salcomp’s own product platforms
-own brand products - i.e. power supplies and accessories sold at retail stores.
OEM products
OEM products (Original Equipment Manufacturer) are chargers tailored for the needs of the customers. They are normally manufactured in large volumes and developed in co-operation with the customer. The majority of Salcomp’s production is based on OEM solutions. Typically, in one OEM product family, several variants are produced for different markets. On the other hand, one product family is normally designed to function with several phone models. OEM products may be constructed from the very beginning or, alternatively, Salcomp’s technically flexible product platforms can be tailored to fulfill the customer’s requirements.
ODM products
The ODM product platforms (Original Design Manufacturer) are specified and developed by Salcomp. They are technologically flexible and safety-approved chargers that are tailored for the special requirements of customers. The ODM products are cost-efficient and make fast access to the market possible.
Own brand products
Own brand products are based on Salcomp's own platforms. They are sold under the global brand name CHARGZTM in selected retail stores and other sales locations worldwide. CHARGZTM brand line is a synonym for high quality, functionality and premium design.
